Decadent Date Dessert Smoothie

This smoothie is…it just…It’s just so delicious I can’t even describe it fully without just passing you a straw. It’s a sweet smoothie that is full of nutrients. We are talking: fiber, energy, carbs, protein, fat, Vitamins B1, B3, B6, Potassium, Manganese, Magnesium, B1, Zinc, Iron, Phosphorus, Calcium….I could keep going.


  • 6-8 Ripe Bananas, frozen/room temp or both
  • 2-4 Dates, pitted
  • ~ 1 tsp Chia seeds
  • ~ 1/8 cup Almond Butter
  • Vanilla (optional)
  • ~2c water, add more if needed for blending.

Variations: add 1 tsp cacao; or eliminate vanilla and add mixed berries for a pb&j-esque smoothie.
