Blushing Breakfast for Two

image

Today is my honey’s birthday so I greeted him in bed with a freshly cracked open young Thai coconut. That sure made his morning. I followed up with this smoothie and thought I would share. This makes about 67oz. So it’s enough for 2 meals. I just always end up making a blender full. And in case you’re wondering I use a Vitamix blender. It’s sofreakingamazing but I survived making 1-2 smoothies a day with a Kitchen Aid blender for 2.5 years so don’t despair if you don’t have a Vitamix. So without further delay,

Blushing Breakfast for two:
2 blood oranges
1 pineapple
3 mangoes
~2 cups water
4-6 ice cubes
Peel, chop, and scoop (mangoes) and blend until smooth adding water as needed. The more ripe the fruit the sweeter and better flavor you get.

If you don’t have a high speed blender try to deseed the oranges.
If you don’t have blood oranges just use any juicy orange, silly. But try to shave or trim all the white pith off as that will make the smoothie bitter.

Enjoy and don’t forget to count your blessings and feel gratitude!
Happy Fruity Friday!
